The May work trip to the AC Rescue Mission this past Thursday was time well spent. We cut up cases of lettuce for salad and arranged hundreds of desserts on trays, then served hot dogs, pizzas and bowls of corn chowder with a popcorn garnish. Chef Tyrone usually prays with us before we begin our work and again, before we leave. We are blessed to serve.
Future work trips this summer are scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, Tuesday, July 14, and Thursday, August 13. Plan to join us – sign up sheets are in the narthex.
